Flamenco Lesson

Flamenco is a musical phenomenon that inspires passionate emotion from both those who participate and those that watch. It has been described as a "living art", which has drawn on all kinds of different musical trends without losing its own personality. However, its main characteristic is its relationship with the audience, which participates in an emotional and heartfelt manner. You'll have the opportunity to experience this emotion first hand as you partake in this exciting and energetic lesson. You'll be taught some of the basic movements of flamenco, which will require you to demonstrate leg strength along with being able to co-ordinate your feet using your tip and heel. During your lesson you'll discover that the movement of your arms, wrists and fingers all come into play, in order to provide the raw energy, hypnotic beauty and sweetness that makes the art of flamenco completely unique.

Once you have completed the lesson you'll have the chance to watch the professionals at work in a live show in a Cultural Centre placed in the Santa Cruz neighbourhood of Seville.
