Andalucia is Spain´s largest producer of olive oil, this experience will give you a basic understanding of the key characteristics of the olive and the oil that is derived from it. You will learn to appreciate the techniques used to grow, produce and grade some of the best olive oil in the world. The tasting would not be complete without the chance to taste the raw material itself, so we will have a range of different olives available for you as well. Here in Seville olive oil and ham go together like a horse and carriage, you canâ't have one without the other, and what better way to complete the oil tasting than to try what is arguably the best ham in the world, the famous Jamón Iberico. There are many different types, qualities and flavours and you will get to try a range, plus learn about the way each is produced through special diets for the animals.
