Day Trip to Ronda

Ronda is in a valley, which is surrounded by mountains and therefore it has a very special character. You will begin with a visit to \"Tagus\", a superb accident of Mother Nature that divides the city in two, after which you will cross the new bridge, built in the eighteenth century, which takes you into the city.

On entering the city you will visit the house of D. Bosco, a magnificent Andalusian home, with fantastic views overlooking the Tagus and the new bridge. Later why not take a closer look at the majestic church of Santa Maria la Mayor, a true artistic treasure, which in its heyday was a cathedral. From here you can visit one of the most emblematic buildings of Ronda - La Plaza de Toros, built in the eighteenth century entirely from stone, it is considered to be the oldest and the largest in the world.

Last, but by no means least, you can take in the Jardines de Cuenca, from where you will be able to see the “old bridge” and the “Arabic bridge”, which until the eighteenth century linked the two parts of the city.

Visiting Ronda is a fun and interesting experience packed with lots to see and do.
