Cave Discovery

Are you a cave discovery enthusiast? If so, nowâ's your chance to find out what mysteries lie beneath the Andalusian ground by trying this challenging and exciting experience. Youâ'll get the opportunity to discover the cave aptly named “Susto”, which means fright.
On arrival at your designated starting point youâ'll be given all the necessary safety briefings and equipment by your professional cave guide, before setting off on the short uphill walk to the caves. From here your adventure really begins, as the entrance to the cave was almost closed off by a landslide, hence youâ'll be required to carefully descend through a small opening until you reach the original entrance. From here youâ'll negotiate a series of ascending slopes and after about 50 meters, youâ'll need to kneel down as you enter a bigger cave.
Next is a labyrinth of corridors with stalactites and stalagmites; at this point youâ're actually able to hear the subterranean stream. Then youâ'll descend a further 4-5 meters with the assistance of your guide and the equipment (ladder and ropes).
Finally, prepare yourself for the breathtaking spectacle of the underground lake, which will confront you. In addition, there is the added sound effect of the lake fizzing, which is caused when the lake bubbles up.
